Veteran's Day Deals

For those of you who are military don't forget to take advantage of Veteran's Day savings!

At Dollar General get 10% with your military ID on Veteran's day- their insert in the 11-01-09 paper had this coupon, they have great prices, combined with insert coupons and Veteran's Day savings there could be some fabulous deals!

And April, a friend on Facebook brought to my attention that Active Duty military eat FREE @ Applebee's on Veteran's Day!

I know most of us on a budget limit eating out- nothing's better than a FREEBIE, especially when you consider portion sizes, we always split a meal, taking a family of 4 out for the price of a kid's meal - can't beat that!

Don't forget to check out your other local establishments, especially if you're active duty many of the places around installations are much more willing to have discounts for veterans!
